Active galactic nuclei heating in the centres of galaxy groups: a statistical study

We present gas temperature, density, entropy and cooling time profiles for the cores of a sample of 15 galaxy groups observed with Chandra . We find that the entropy profiles follow a power-law profile down to very small fractions of R ₅₀₀. Differences between the gas profiles of groups with radio-loud and radio-quiet brightest group galaxies are only marginally significant, and there is only a small difference in the   L _X: T _X  relations, for the central regions we study with Chandra , between the radio-loud and radio-quiet objects in our sample, in contrast to the much larger difference found on scales of the whole group in earlier work. However, there is evidence, from splitting the sample based on the mass of the central black holes, that repeated outbursts of active galactic nuclei (AGN) activity may have a long-term cumulative effect on the entropy profiles. We argue that, to first order, energy injection from radio sources does not change the global structure of the gas in the cores of groups, although it can displace gas on a local level. In most systems, it appears that AGN energy injection serves primarily to counter the effects of radiative cooling, rather than being responsible for the similarity breaking between groups and clusters.  相似文献

中国老龄事业发展水平时空演化及其与经济发展水平的空间匹配

基于“积极老龄化”理论框架,从健康、参与和保障三大维度构建中国老龄事业发展水平评价指标体系。以中国大陆31个省（自治区、直辖市）为研究对象,运用数理统计、重心和空间重叠性、空间错位分析和计量经济模型等方法,分析了2004—2016年中国老龄事业发展水平的时序变化、空间格局、错位特征及其影响机制。结果表明：① 2004—2016年,中国老龄事业发展水平整体快速增长,区域差异逐渐缩小,但区域失衡特征不容忽视。东部地区整体水平高于中部、西部及东北地区,并伴有“西部崛起,中部及东北地区塌陷”特征。东部地区呈现“两极化”现象。② 中国老龄事业基本处于低水平发展阶段,空间分布由西南-东北辐射递减模式转变为显著的“中部塌陷”式,形成一条由北向南的低值集聚带,纵贯中国中部,与区域经济发展存在错位关系。③ 负向错位区主要分布在黄河、长江中上游地区,正向错位区主要集中在东部沿海、长城以北等地区。空间错位强度存在显著的地域差异性,其中西部地区尤为显著。④ 老龄事业发展水平的动态变化是多因素交互作用的结果。经济发展水平、政府政策和行政导向及产业结构的时空分异对其产生正向影响。市场经济规模扩大和人口老龄化未对老龄事业发展起推动作用,与理论预期不符。家庭规模小型化的倒逼作用不显著。  相似文献

本文利用地面光学望远镜对NGC4151进行国际联测所得的结果，通过周期日方法和逐步回归方法得到了该目标的一些较为明显的光变周期．结果表明，NGC4151存在两个主要光变周期．一个是所有光学波段存在约14天的周期，另一个是连续谱存在约30天周期，而对于Hα和Hβ则分别为24和38天的周期．  相似文献

Analysis of SOHO longitudinal magnetograms and Dopplergrams has revealed the appearance of a region of enhanced upflow of matter in the photosphere when the top of a loop-shaped magnetic flux tube forming a large active region passed through it. 采用聚丙烯酰胺凝胶垂直板电泳法 ,对中国两性生殖卤虫 Artemia sinica的 1 4个品系的碱性磷酸酶、酸性磷酸酶同工酶基因的表达特征进行了分析 ,并与 Artemia urmiana的碱性磷酸酶、酸性磷酸酶同工酶基因的表达特征进行了比较研究。结果表明 :中国两性生殖卤虫各品系的 ALP、 ACP同工酶的酶谱相同 ,均为单体酶。 ALP、 ACP同工酶分别由 ALP - 1、 ACP- 1 ,ALP- 2、ACP- 2 ,ALP- 3、ACP- 3三个基因座位编码 ,ALP- 1、ACP- 1座位存在a、 b两个共显性等位基因 ,ALP- 2、ACP- 2存在 a、b、c三个等位基因 ,ALP- 3、ACP- 3座位存在 a、b两个等位基因。共发现 7种基因型 :1 .0 / cc/ bb,2 .0 / bb/ bb,3.0 / aa/ aa,4.0 /ab/ aa,5.0 / ac/ ab,6.0 / ac/ aa,7.ab/ ab/ aa。仅在 A.urmiana中发现 0 / cc/ bb、 0 / bb/ bb基因型 ,而 A.sinica的主要基因型为 :0 / ac/ aa、 0 / ab/ aa、 0 / aa/ aa。仅 GN品系的 ALP - 1、 ACP- 1有基因座位表达。  相似文献

以MAPGIS软件为基础平台 ,利用GIS缓冲区分析和空间叠加分析技术 ,研究上海及邻近海域地震与活动断裂的关系。研究区地震活动断裂的发育程度以继承性NE -NNE向为主 ,但其活动强度不及NW -NNW向及近EW向断裂 ;沿NW -NNW向及近EW向断裂两侧 ,中强地震发生频率明显高于NE -NNE向断裂 ;不同时代活动断裂与中强地震之间存在一定的联系 ,表现为随着断裂活动时代变新 ,断裂周围中强地震发生的频率升高。  相似文献
